Web Analyst – Luxury E-Commerce

A fantastic opportunity has been created for an experienced Web Analyst within one of the UK’s leading online luxury fashion ecommerce sites.

You will have a genuine passion for data and their elaboration in Excel, a broader passion for the Digital Marketing space and ideally a solid interest in luxury fashion. This is a great opportunity, to utilise your finely tuned analytic skills, inject your own stamp on another newly created position and curve out a career path within a digitally focused department.

What you’ll be doing


  • Report on key metrics against target on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and provide actionable insights to improve performance
  • Present insightful analysis on different customer segments
  • Ability to translate analytics and communicate powerful messages and stories
  • Focus on user behaviour across desktop, tablet, mobile and mobile apps to maximise opportunities and optimise results
  • Extract data from web analytics packages such as Google Analytics / Content Square / Firebase to derive insights regarding page flows, funnels, landing and exit pages, new vs returning users, device performance and user behaviour
  • Report on content interaction and impact on sales performance
  • Ownership of the A/B testing programme
  • Analyse personalisation and targeting strategies and work closely with internal stakeholders to implement and test changes
  • Focus on campaign performances by channel, evaluating trends across all KPIs


  • Create, run and refine daily top line reporting at a country level for all key ecommerce metrics with commentary highlighting areas for further investigation and action
  • Weekly reporting of business performance with WoW and YoY analysis at a department, season, category, brand, country and channel level
  • Monthly board pack reporting of key ecommerce metrics and commentary
  • Work closely with the merchandising department to help spot trends and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ad hoc projects to pull data, develop insights and support decision making
  • Measure the impact of ecommerce product enhancements and initiatives


  • 2 years + experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with ecommerce retail concepts and operations
  • Strong commercial focus and experience working directly with online marketing teams
  • Able to work well independently and within a team; good communication skills with a “can do” attitude toward problem solving

About you

  • Extensive  experience of  using Google Analytics and  experience of  other web analytics and tracking tools
  • Experience using BI tools beneficial
  • Very strong command of Excel
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional level of English, both written and spoken
