Vice President of Global Marketing Luxury Beauty Skincare

We are looking to hire a Global Vice President Marketing, to be part of the next stage of this exciting luxury, skincare product as is scales out internationally.

The position will work as part of the Senior Management and Executive Board team, and report directly to the COO/CEO.

This high-end, luxury skincare product is looking for a strategic minded, global marketing executive to take the business from start-up to a globally recognised skincare product. The company is well funded, a highly acclaimed product and already selling direct to the consumer and through major retail outlets across major cities globally. At the heart of what they do is sustainability, clean, ethical ingredients and real science. With high produce values, they also carry the same values in their company.

The successful person must have experience in go-to-market strategy across geographical locations, experience of marketing direct to consumer as well as retail, experience with a high growth business in a beauty, luxury or comparable business and able to build a global team to help reach the vison of the brand. Must be strategically minded, robust in intellectual capability and have the drive to work for a scale up brand.

Qualification & Experience

  • Highly analytical but creatively minded; able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics within core brand guidelines within the marketing strategy and spend
  • Profound knowledge of attribution models and media mix marketing
  • 10+ years of senior marketing leadership experience as Director of Marketing in a rapidly growing beauty / consumer-packaged goods brand
  • Field expert across luxury Beauty or health and wellness
  • Experience working in an omnichannel distribution and international environment
  • Deep knowledge of working with major beauty retailers such as Sephora, Harrods, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Look Fantastic among others
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to successfully motivate and challenge a team of talented people at all levels of the company
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a drive to succeed
  • Ability to process and conceptualise a vast amount of information and understand and prioritise competing business needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is critical
  • Technical knowledge of tracking, tooling and experiment design and implementation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact; ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal teams
  • Previous relationships/interactions with key vendors and external partners
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in global teams and collaborating across multiple geographies
