About the Role

As the Head of Retail Training and Development, you will lead strategic training programs and implement best practices to foster talent development, exceptional service standards, and overall business performance. Collaborating with senior leaders and retail teams, you will design innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of a fast-paced luxury retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a robust retail training strategy that aligns with organizational goals and drives measurable business impact.
  • Lead the creation of training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and in-person workshops, ensuring they reflect luxury service excellence.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to identify training needs and influence the adoption of development programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, set rollout timelines, and measure ROI of training interventions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of training programs to evaluate effectiveness, gathering insights from feedback and key performance indicators.
  • Support and coach junior team members, modeling best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with retail managers to ensure training programs are tailored to the unique needs of multiple locations and teams.
  • Stay updated on trends in learning technologies and methodologies to introduce cutting-edge solutions that meet luxury market standards.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader who embodies the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, ideally within luxury retail or premium brands.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful training programs that drive results.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms, content creation, and in-person training delivery.
  • Analytical approach to evaluating program effectiveness using data and insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field.
