About You:

We are seeking a client development specialist to join us at stealth mode, pre-launch stage; you must have previous experience as a Client Manager, Personal Shopper or a High Jewellery Expect with a strong experience in selling to VVIP/UHNW clients are the very top level to join the team.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the capacity to work in a supportive matter to suit the needs of the business and the exacting standards of its clientele. The role is primarily sales orientated and will involve developing relationships with customers by understanding and forecasting their tastes and desires through replying to specific product queries as well as arranging in-store viewings of limited edition or ‘By Appointment Only’ products. Most importantly, you will provide exceptional service levels to ensure that our customers enjoy the best shopping experience across all the channels that soulka enables.

How you’ll do this:

  • every action you make will be done with the client experience front of mind
  • nurture the relationships you already have in your network, to introduce them to Soulka
  • proactively work new client leads that are referred to you via the founder, events, social media activity, website leads
  • your clientelling approach will be as comfortable with meeting in-person as building digital and remote relationships
  • you will take a proactive approach to initiating and acting on client hospitality opportunities
  • your aim will be to be seen by your clients as the go-to source for their high and fine jewellery purchases. You will be respected for your technical knowledge as much as your taste.
  • your sales approach will be bespoke and tailored to each individual’s needs, aims and lifestyle. You are aiming for relevancy and inspiration in the curated experience you deliver.
  • you will create an organic community, making connections between collectors, designers, brands, clients within your network based on likeminded passion for jewels and affinity to Soulka.
  • you will nurture as strong relationships with your contacts at the brands we sell, to ensure the best service for your clients and access to the best and most exclusive products.
  • your focus will be to introduce the right pieces to the right clients, digitally and physically to incite interest, passion, and purchase
  • you will be able to demonstrate an intimate understanding of the fine and high jewellery sales cycle, with an acute appreciation of the different influences on the decision-making processes

You will have

  • experience of selling fine & high jewellery
  • GIA or G.G. degree. (or equivalent)
  • minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with diamonds of high colour and clarities.
  • be passionate to take your interest to a level of market leading expertise
  • be able to demonstrate a client first approach
  • must be fluent in another language, Mandarin, Russian and/or Arabic and English
  • demonstrate that you enjoy the challenge of acting on developing new client relationships
