Luxury Recruit is working together with a well-established fine Jewelry brand to recruit Bench Jewelers across the USA. We are looking to recruit talent with ambition, drive and passion for Jewelry who want to be a part of our dynamic company culture in a luxury retail environment.
Mission:
The jeweler will perform all requested and necessary work on jewelry to include: Stone setting, Sizing, Customizing jewelry, Laserstar/ Rofin Benchtop Laser Welder use (no previous experience necessary) , Soldering, Polishing, Best Built engraver use (no previous experience necessary), Retipping, and other general repair work.
Positions based across multiple locations in the USA – The right to work in the USA is a must.
Responsibilities – the Bench Jeweler:
- Provide accurate assessments of merchandise quality and condition so that the company may make proper decisions on the best course of action.
- Maintain the shop and personal workspace in a clean, organized, presentable, and efficient manner.
- Restore damaged or broken jewelry, select appropriate gems, clean and polish jewelry while maintaining quick turn-around times
- Repairs broken clasps, pins, rings, and other jewelry by soldering or replacing broken parts
- Reshapes and restyles jewelry, following designs or instructions, using hand tools and machines, such as jeweler’s lathe and drill
- Adheres to all safety-related procedures to reduce the risk of accident
- Maintain, operate, service and clean as necessary all shop equipment and tools ensuring at all times safe operation and maintenance.
Profile:
- Bench Experience preferred (Bench test needed).
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have weekend and evening availability.
- Excellent communicator, able to develop a network.
