Crew English Assessment: Being able to communicate well in English is one of the main requirements of any luxury yacht crews. An English interview and a simple English test are carried out for each candidate. In the case that a crew requires an intensive course in order to refresh his or her English, a private class with a reputable English School can be organized.

Crew Reference Check: LuxuryRecruit conducts a reference check on each crew before the shortlisting stage.

Crew Medical Examination: Life is fun but as most experienced crews are aware, the work is hard. A crew must be in good health to be able to fulfill his/her duties. LuxuryRecruit understands this requirement and is affiliated with hospitals that are equipped to carry out thorough medical tests on all crews looking to work on board luxury yachts.

Crew Criminal Record Check: It is critical for all crews to be clear of any misconduct and criminal charges/offenses. LuxuryRecruit conducts a full background check on all candidates placed.

Crew Employment Contract Review and Negotiation: Crews’ employment contracts are complicated and can be technical especially for candidates with no prior experience working on board a yacht. Certain rules and regulations require an in depth understanding, which can only be achieved through detailed explanation, and this is where LuxuryRecruit’s expertise can benefit both parties and helps to shorten the lengthy communication process between the candidates and the employers; bringing the two together with a clear understanding.

Crew Orientation: A full briefing on the yacht and life at sea will be carried out to ensure the crews are aware of what to expect and what is expected of them

Administrations: Document translation, ticket reservation and visa application can also be handled by Luxury Recruit.
